Submission information for the 2027 Fargo Film Festival will be updated once our new season begins. Dates and deadlines for the completed March 2026 event are included below.  

All submissions for the Fargo Film Festival must be completed through Film Freeway. 

Movies must be submitted electronically, through Film Freeway’s secure online screener option or via a link to a site such as Vimeo or a moviemaker-provided URL.

No physical media, including DVD and Blu-ray, are accepted as submission copies. If the work is selected, an approved exhibition DCP must be provided.

2026 Fargo Film Festival Submission Deadlines:
Earlybird Submission Deadline: August 1, 2025
Regular Submission Deadline: September 1, 2025
Late Submission Deadline: October 1, 2025
Extended Deadline: November 1, 2025
